As the 2009 BET Awards draw closer the performance line up can only get hotter. Joining an already stellar selection of artists- Beyonce, Ne-Yo, Maxwell and Soulja Boy, Def Jam’s own, Kanye West has now been added to the line up.

In addition to taking the stage Sunday, June 28, Mr. West also managed to collect one nominee for Best Male Hip Hop Artist of the Year alongside Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne and soon to be incarcerated, TI.
